Has anybody sent ebay customer service an email?

How long did it take to get a resonse? Somebody used my emial address (with his ebay ID, don't know how) to purchase an item and I got an email from the seller asking for a payment. Does ebay even care?

Reply:YES!! They want to know about this kind of abuse. Contact them asap they will get back to you
Reply:Yes, I have and it does take a while for them to respond what you might want to do is file a dispute. Also write the seller a message and let them know that you did not make that purchase and that you are filing a dispute with ebay about it. This way it will not show up as a non-payment on your account.
