Which email service is better, gmail or yahoo?

i just need an email service that is basic, fast, and dosnt give me problems with attachments....and if possible will scan them for me....i dont really like hotmail that much, and i cant stand aim mail, so which do you think is better, yahoo or gmail? thank you!
