How can I get an email address for Howard Johnson Customer service? I need to send a letter with attachments.
You'll probably have to call them, or send them an E-mail first asking for an address you can send attachments too.
They might ask you to mail them via postal mail.
Big companys like that don't normally let customers send them attatch thing to e-mail because of the spam/virus possibility.

I think Gmail is the best free e-mail service available. It offers more storage space than any other service. They are currently offering over 2GB of storage space. You have a better opportunity to get a good screen name since it has not been around for as long as some of the other services. It has a very user friendly interface. You don't have to delete any e-mail and you can quickly search through all of your archived mail. They have a very good spam filter. The text ads are very unobstructive. And the best thing is that they are always improving this great service!

How do I forward all my email automatically from Mail Horde to another service like gmail ?
My web hosting site (IX) uses Mail Horde for email connected to my website and it is just terrible. I can rarely access my mail. I wish to forward all of my mail automatically but i cannot find that option anywhere. I've forwarded automatically from Earthlink to Yahoo in the past and it is a simple operation. Not so with mail Horde.

From the limited contact I have had with the modeling industry, a three week contract working strictly from 9-5 does not sound quite right. It could be legit, but three weeks is a long time to hire a model, and they do not usually work such standard hours.

ya mine has been doing that for 2 days now. I went and cleaned out my cookies and history and my history on my internet connection and now it works fine. Go to control panel, click on internet options and clear history and cookies. I went ahead and restarted my computer also.

ya mine has been doing that for 2 days now. I went and cleaned out my cookies and history and my history on my internet connection and now it works fine. Go to control panel, click on internet options and clear history and cookies. I went ahead and restarted my computer also.

It says that Yahoo is shutting down all unused Accounts and you have to send them your username, password, date of birth and country or territory our your account will be shut down. Sounds bogus to me.

You'd have to build up a reputation, I would think. As another answerer said, no one can really know who you are or what your credentials are. However - advice is advice. If you give good advice, people will ask you for more.
I mean, look at Ann Landers. Thousands of people asked for her advice through the mail. In the beginning, no one knew who she was or what her abilities were. She made a successful career out of it.
It also depends on what other new areas of service you're looking to open up to people - and if you're looking to profit off of it or just help people. But you never know until you try, right?

Someone contacted me through my school email address soliciting his services as a internship coach. After googling this guy's name I found that he recently worked for a non-profit organization that helps students find internships for free - I applied to this program a couple of months ago and assume this is how he obtained my email address.

Technically it's against the CANSPAM act, as you did not register to receive his information, and you didn't double opt-in.
So without knowing the details, I'd say no, it's not legal.
Reply: If you're sure the non profit you applied to is legitimate you could always call or write them and tell them this guy is using their list to solicit his own services. If you didn't agree to be solicited by this guy you should report him as a spammer and block his email. If he's still working for this NPO and they find out he's spamming people he will be gone in a flash. Also you should check these people out and make sure they're legit. Something doesn't sound right about the whole thing.
There are a lot of con artists out there that prey on students. Be careful.

its not your mail provider that generates 'spam'. Spam is the result of someone with a commercial interest getting hold of your email address and selling it. once this occurs, the process replicates at an exponential rate, which is when you get to the situation you're in now. If you like yahoo, the simple solution is just to register a new address with them. However, with whatever new address you set up, be very careful about who you give your email address to. For example, if a website is asking for your email, make sure they have a privacy policy that states they will not disclose your email address to any third party (any reputable website will provide this assurance).
You might also like to google "how to avoid spam" which will give you a wealth of information about keeping your new address hassle-free.

Make sure your email has mixed letters and numbers (harder to randomly spam), and don't ever sign up for ANYTHING with your email address. Once one mailing list gets the address, 2 more get it, then 2 more get those, etc... Newsletters, jokes of the day, all that garbage will get you a ton of spam.

op of the page, in the middle, under Welcome and Sign Out there is a link to Switch Back. Click that and you are back to your old mail.

Nope. Outlook will tell you *IF* you are on the same network, but not if the person receiving it is on a different network. You can always request a confirmation that it has been opened, but the person receiving the mail gets a notice first letting them know that the sender has requested a confirmation and asking if it should be sent or not, and they can choose not to send the confirmation. The only exception to this is if both people are on AOL, then they will be able to look at the details of the sent mail to see if it has been opened. But if you're still on AOL you should really think of making some changes... there's a whole world out there, why let AOL/TimeWarner decide what's appropriate for you?

So about a year ago I set up a gmail and hotmail account. I figured if Yahoo won't let me send or receive emails for hours (or sometimes a few days) at a time, I needed a backup plan. For the most part, Yahoo email has a user-friendly interface and is pretty reliable.

You can also compose an email on your old account and send to all of your friends, etc in your address book, your new email address. Also you can click on your Browser and type in your old service provider such as (www.hotmail.com) and then you can put in your old info and then forward all your old address's to your new internet provider. Sounds hard but you will get the hang of it..Good Luck

I used to get email from my aol account forwarded to my blackberry pearl. I got a message saying that my email will no longer be forwarded, and that it may be a problem with my email account. Did you try to go into your "set up email" on your Berry? if not, try going there. Look for your account. Click on EDIT and re-enter your password there. If you AOL account is not there, Add it on. Reply:it depends on your preference. there are a lot of them out there. your Internet provider usually has one that you can use IE; AOL.com, cox.com earth link, Netscape there are also gmail and many others. It's depends on what you like.
Reply:I don't know if there is such a thing as "The Best Email Service"... if you don't like all the email services, go to a trusted internet domain provider, get a domain, and open an email service on it. That way, you can decide EVERYTHING (eg. size of inbox, max message size) and better still, you get to choose (within reason) your @.
But for good free email sites that give good inbox size and a load of features without trading reliability, you won't find many past Hotmail, Gmail, AOL Mail, Yahoo! Mail, and other such email services.

Its getting annoying now, as I see that from my icon on the right hand section that I have 56 new emails yet I can't access them.

Help with Blackberry internet service and email?
I used to get email from my aol account forwarded to my blackberry pearl. I got a message saying that my email will no longer be forwarded, and that it may be a problem with my email account. My email is fine, but it isn't coming through to my phone. I tried to log into my email settings via my phone but it says my password is incorrect. Then I had it send my password to my phone, but it never came. What do I do??

PS I checked again, it still works, but its very slow. My yahoo and Berry Email i get super quick. But the AOL mail lags.

I had been receiving email from (2) financial services for months and all of a sudden I can't anymore . Why ?
all of a sudden I stopped getting them. I checked with the services and they said they were not getting kicked back. They also recomended that I add there address to my list....which I did . What do i do next ?
