Can i use Microsoft outlook for yahoo or other free email service?
If you mean how do you download webmail using Outlook then you will have to forward your email to your ISP mail server.
Reply:with yahoo you have to have yahoo mail plus but, gmail will work and you don't have to pay anything.
Reply:If you have the POP and SMTP servers then you can
Reply:Yes, you can. Just set up the appropriate POP3 or IMAP (but usually POP3) server of the e-mail service. You also have to set an SMTP server. It's important to know that the SMTP server doesn't depend on the free e-mail service you use. You can look after the appropriate SMTP server's address at your ISP.
Reply:Yes - and No. With Yahoo, you have to pay extra to utilize it as a POP3 account. WIth Gmail - it's included in the 'free'.
Reply:the answer to that is not an easy one.

Technically yes you can but only if the "free" service provides a server that Outlook recognizes.

At one time you used to be able to use hotmail/yahoo in Outlook using and http mail server setup but both have since removed that capability.

Long and short of it is, check to see if they provide what is called a "pop service". they should give instructions for how to set it up.
