How do I get a yahoo email address without actually paying for internet service? I have no pc and use library

I have no pc at home and use our public library for research. I need an address of my own. Currently I use my friend's address and she's not happy about that.

If you want to use Yahoo!, this is no problem. Yahoo! E-mail comes in the forms of free, and then for those who actually pay for it (such as myself). To sign up for this, simply go to yahoo.com, click on any E-mail link, (direct link: https://login.yahoo.com/config/login_ver... and at a login page, you will see another option, usually under the words: 'Don't have a Yahoo! ID? Signing up is easy.' There you will see a 'Sign Up' link. Simply click this link to begin the registration process. You will be asked a few simply questions, then create your account. Easy as that! From here on out, just go to Yahoo.com, and login to begin using your new E-mail account.





Also, on a side note, since you are using a public computer, be sure to not leave any personal information left on the system, and make sure that you log out whenever you are done, if you were'nt already doing so. Hope this helps. :)

Sharing an email account blows, because that person has access to your email, thus any PRIVATE messages also!

all you would need to do is create an account, if you would like to use the same provider she uses for an email client then you would sign out ,then click register a new account.


yes 99% of email clients have free basic email services.

once you go there choose which one you want, then go from there, it is going to be free and you don't have to pay anything. If you have problems creating your own email adress then ask someone at the library or your friend(s) to help you out. good luck

Reply:You should be able to go to yahoo and sign up for your own. It doesn't matter if you have service or not. Then just access it the same way that you do hers. Usually basic emails are free.
