If I want to stop using Tiscali as my internet service provider, do I lose the email address?

I have a tiscali e-mail address which is accessible using webmail. If I stop using tiscali as my broadband internet service provider, do I also lose that e-mail address?

The answer is yes, however you may consider that they have been badly walloped by spammers and the service is not always this bad, you may consider just finding an additional email address like msn or yahoo.
Reply:probably not but this might be usefull for you to read. http://ask-leo.com/is_there_a_way_to_kee...
Reply:It will stop working.
Reply:Yes it will
Reply:yes, your tiscali email will stop about 30days after your contract is cancelled with them.

i highly reccomend you get rid of tiscali. they are crap
Reply:No you won't lose that email address, but you will only be able to receive emails, not send them. There is a way round that though, if you use mail2web (http://www.mail2web.com/) you will be able to pick up any un-read emails and reply direct from there.
Reply:I was using tiscali but due to appalling customer services and connection speed i changed to AOL over a month ago.

I can still send and receive emails from my tiscali email addresses. Both on the web and through outlook express.
